CREDIBLE WITNESS ENCOUNTER

Captain Thomas Mantell of the Kentucky Air National Guard pursued an unidentified aerial object in his F-51 Mustang and crashed at high altitude. The Air Force later attributed the object to a Skyhook research balloon.
